The University of South Carolina invites nominations and expressions of interest for the University’s next Dean of the McCausland College of Arts and Sciences.
The University of South Carolina (USC), the state’s flagship and an R1 research university, seeks a visionary, collaborative, and student-centered leader to serve as Dean of the McCausland College of Arts & Sciences (MCAS). As the largest and most academically diverse college at USC, MCAS spans the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences and is central to the university’s mission of teaching, research, and service. The next Dean will champion excellence across disciplines, accelerate research and creative activity, strengthen student success and belonging, cultivate philanthropy, and amplify MCAS’s impact across South Carolina and beyond.

A search committee has been thoughtfully selected to include faculty and staff from across the disciplines of the College.
