Related Professional Development Opportunities

Faculty who are actively designing or revising an online course and would benefit from structured guidance and individualized feedback may consider the Foundations of Online Teaching (FOOT) short course. FOOT is a facilitated, cohort-based experience offered on a scheduled timeline, focusing on applied course design, development, and delivery. Participants work in the course as students, experiencing online learning from a student perspective while building or revising a course.

Educators interested in strengthening evidence-based teaching practices across various teaching modalities may also consider the Foster Student Learning Through Effective Teaching course, which offers both facilitated and self-paced participation options.
