Bio

Background: Dr. Gamwell is a pediatric psychologist and researcher with a special interest in self-management in youth experiencing pain. Broadly, she has extensive background and training in pediatric pain and general pediatric psychology, pediatric health, biopsychosocial models of care, family systems, evidence-based treatment and associated clinical research. She is the director of the RESET program, which is the only Intensive Interdisciplinary Pediatric Pain treatment (IIPT) program in the southeast. Dr. Gamwell has a strong passion for clinical research and believes it is imperative to best serve her patients.
