Bio
| Background: | Dr. Elaine Apperson is a Pediatric Endocrinologist for Prisma Health System and an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Apperson completed her fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and conducted research at the Joslin Diabetes Center. She has served as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and also practiced as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. She joined the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at USCSOMG in 2009. In 2019, she became the Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology for Prisma Children's Hospital. |
