Bio
| Background: | I am a board-certified pediatrician and board-certified pediatric hospitalist who works as a pediatric hospitalist routinely caring for children hospitalized for a variety of medical conditions. I have expertise in medical education and clinical research. I am passionate about mentorship and teaching. |

| Research Interest(s): | Clinical research current interest. Created the Hypothermic Young Infant Research Collaborative. Includes coordination of 9 sites across the United States (here, Wake Forest, Virginia Commonwealth, University of Alabama Birmingham, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Oregon Health Sciences, Columbia NY, John Hopkins All Children's Nationwide Children's Hospital. Exploring variety of topics related to hypothermia in young infants. Resulted in 10 peer-reviewed publications, national workshops, along with numerous regional and national presentations. As an expert on this topic, I now give Grand Rounds at visiting sites. |
