Bio
| Background: | Originally from Guatemala, Dr. Corral graduated Cum Laude from Universidad Francisco Marroquin. He worked for 2 years in cancer prevention research. He participated in the tobacco control leadership program of the Bloomberg School of Public health and worked closely with the team that instituted a ban on smoking in public spaces in Guatemala. Dr. Corral completed his Internal Medicine residency at Jackson Memorial – University of Miami and his Gastroenterology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Florida. He added an extra year of training in advanced endoscopy to learn endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP. After his clinical training he completed a MPH in King's College London. On his free time he enjoys family time, soccer, running and listening to Latin music. |
