Bio
Background: | Dr. Roberts was born and raised in upstate South Carolina. He graduated from Rhodes College with an Honors Degree in Neuroscience. He attended the Medical University of Carolina, where he founded the Alliance for disAbility Advocacy and received the MUSC Physicians Medical Scientist Training Program Scholar Award. After obtaining his MD, Dr. Roberts completed his neurology residency at the University of Texas Health San Antonio, where he served as Chief Resident and received the Dr. David G. Sherman Award for Outstanding Resident in Neurology. Dr. Roberts is most passionate about undergraduate and graduate medical education, where his efforts have led to four local and two national teaching awards. Dr. Roberts sits on the Leadership University Subcommittee of the American Academy of Neurology, whose mission is to make leadership education more accessible and meaningful to all Academy members. |
