Bio

Background: Dr. Erin Weeda is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. She is extensively involved in pre-clerkship education, teaching pharmacology and clinical therapeutics. Dr. Weeda serves as the pharmacology curriculum lead and course director for several systems-based modules. She has played a key role in the development of multiple courses within the curriculum and has led numerous pharmacology initiatives associated with the implementation of a new curriculum. Dr. Weeda’s research focuses on health outcomes and health services, with an emphasis on pharmacotherapy and population health. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including JAMA, Diabetes Care, and Pharmacotherapy.
