Education: BA in Psychology from USC

Aidan is from Atlanta, Georgia, and completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in History. Aidan studies Arabic and Urdu for his MA thesis exploring the Chaush community in Hyderabad, India. Aidan enjoys dancing bhangra, a folk dance from Panjab, as well as reading poetry and listening to Arabic and South Asian music.

Aidan loves to explore the world, and has travelled to India three times. The first visit was to Hyderabad, facilitated by his advisor Dr. Waheed, to complete a two month internship with The Deccan Archive and learn Urdu poetics while cataloging books and manuscripts for Kabikaj Foundation. His second trip was to explore the subcontinent more broadly by visiting the cities of Kochi, Kolkata, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, and Delhi over the course of a month.
