Olivia is a first-year Public History M.A. student from Rock Hill, South Carolina.

After graduating with a B.A. in History and Global Studies with a minor in Mass Communications in 2024, Olivia spent a year working in the public history field before returning to USC pursue her graduate degree in the Fall of 2025.

In 2024, she worked at the National Park Service as an Inclusive Storytelling History Research Intern completing multiple projects, namely identifying Women’s Army Corps members stationed at Fort Moultrie during World War II. In 2025, she worked as an Interpreter at Drayton Hall, a former plantation and phosphate mining site in Charleston. She also worked as a Research Assistant under the supervision of the Dr. Kennedy in the history department to support the digital mapping portion of USC project “Woodbasket of the World: Lumbering, Manufacturing, and Conserving South Carolina’s Forests.”
