Building/Grounds Supervisor I (Building/Grounds Maintenance Technician – 2 positions), Band 4, USC Sumter. Typically holds a high school diploma or GED and requires 1 or more years of job related experience. Grounds and maintenance experience preferred. Under general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor the building/grounds maintenance technician performs landscaping/grounds and general maintenance duties for USC Sumter. Performs general building maintenance to include preparation and painting walls, constructing walls, and minor plumbing and electrical tasks, mowing lawn, weedeating, pruning trees, etc. along with other related tasks as assigned by supervsior. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations. Requires a valid driver’s license, knowledge in all types of ground care and ability the follow instructions and safely operate all related grounds equipment. Minimum Salary: $34,532.
