Transfer Advising Resources

Below are resources that both USC Lancaster advisors and students may use during advising conversations when selecting courses for next semester. These resources can be used to guide decisions and should not be considered official. Once a student determines where they plan to transfer, we recommend the student reaches out to a transfer admissions counselor or advisor at that next institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm with their next institution how credits will transfer from USC Lancaster to that institution. USC Lancaster advisors cannot confirm how credits will transfer to another institution, but they can give recommendations using a course equivalency table and an institution’s degree requirements as listed online.

For the most up-to-date and accurate degree requirements, always refer to the institution’s academic bulletin or catalog for the most recent academic year.

  • Home Course Equivalency: This is the Home to Home Course Equivalency Chart. It shows what courses are equivalent at the USC campuses. This is unofficial.

  • Clemson Transfer Equivalency Tool: This is to Clemson University’s Course Equivalency Lookup. It can show specific course equivalencies and can also provide a full list of course equivalencies from USC Lancaster to Clemson. This tool is not comprehensive or official.
  • Course Equivalency: This is to the Course Equivalency chart through USC Columbia. It can be used to show equivalencies between USC Columbia (and USC Lancaster) and other institutions in the United States. This chart is not comprehensive or official.
