Overview
USC’s First-Generation Center launched the First-Generation Student Advisory Board (FG SAB) in Spring 2025 to amplify first-gen student voices and strengthen support on campus. The board elected leaders in January and established committees focused on community service, programming, and student engagement. Their mission: advocate for first-gen students, create leadership opportunities, and bridge the gap between students and First-Gen Center staff.
