Student Experience Project (SEP)

The Student Experience Project (SEP) is a national project designed to encourage an institutional growth mindset that all learners can be successful through instructional support and clear communication of course expectations.

SEP data reveals that as students' classroom experiences improve, their likelihood of earning an A or B rises while the likelihood of earning a D, F, or W declines.

How is USC participating?

Currently, a cohort of faculty members are implementing SEP strategies in a structured community of practice. These faculty are using formative student feedback to measure student learning conditions and implement student-centered teaching practices.

How can I get involved with SEP?

Anyone can utilize the resources provided through the SEP. Try out one of the student-centered strategies based on the amount of time you would like to spend:

15 minutes
An hour
