Palmetto College CIEL Fellows
CIEL initiatives extend beyond the Columbia campus to the four regional campuses at Lancaster, Salkehatchie, Sumter, and Union. CIEL supports a liaison at each campus with a goal to:
- Serve as the primary contact for the Graduation with Leadership Distinction (GLD) program, including recruiting students to pursue GLD, supporting students in completing the GLD application, providing guidance to students through the GLD ePortfolio process, and teaching or recruiting instructors for UNIV 401
- Support the facilitation of the Quality Enhancement Plan, including identification of student work samples for assessment processes and indirect assessment methods such as surveys and focus groups, and tracking of
student participation in identified beyond the classroom experiences
- Provide continuous feedback to CIEL and other Palmetto College Fellows to help advance programmatic and institutional goals related to integrative and experiential learning
Students at a Palmetto College campus can contact the CIEL Fellow on their campus:
- Lancaster: Asheley Schryer
- Salkehatchie: Sarah Miller
- Sumter: Alex Flyod
- Union: Steve Lownes
