Carolina Debate Society
What to Expect
The Carolina Debate Society is a student run debate society, debating in the style of British Parliamentary. The purpose of the debate society is to foster better public speakers and teach debate argumentation. We are open to all backgrounds of public speaking, from the inexperienced to the star debater.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
